Kirata Group (KG) intends to conduct an initial assessment of specialized contractors who are licensed for executing similar works in the Fire Water and Fire Fighting System’s Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Fields. Contractors who pass the initial qualification stage successfully will be granted the opportunity to participate in the tendering process of such project on a turnkey basis.

The Scope includes: Engineering, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning of a new Fire water & Fire fighting System for KG’S ES-Sider Tank Farm (As a Main Scope) and the Demolition of Abandoned old Fire water System works (As an Optional Scope).

The project comprises the design, supply of materials, equipment and workmanship (including all civil works) to replace the damaged Ring Main, Fixed Foam Fire Fighting System, Auto Extinguishing gas Rim Seal Fire Protection System (As an Optional Scope), Fire water Storage Tank Replacement, Fire Water Reservoir Revamping, Automation & Fire Alarm Systems in accordance with the base scope of work, KG’s specifications, drawings and current International Oil & Gas Industry Codes & Standards like API, NFPA etc.

Therefore, specialized contractors in this field (Design & Construction of Fire Water & Fire Fighting Systems) who possess the expertise, competence, financial and skilled manpower necessary for the execution of this project, and interested to submit their credentials for the pre-qualification purpose for this work, are requested to fill out the attached questionnaire (hyper link) or attend in person to receive a hard copy of the questionnaire at the address mentioned below, in order to submit complete file including the below requirements for Prequalification Purpose.

SCOPE OF WORK (IN BRIEF):

The successful bidder out of the tendering phase for this EPIC turnkey project will be responsible for the following:

First: Engineering Design Works

A detailed engineering design (compliant to KG’s Specifications, Corporate Technical Standards & all International Standards applicable to Fire Protection for Hydrocarbon Storage Facilities) of the following:

• Fire Water System for 19 Crude oil Storage tanks

• Fixed Foam Fire Fighting System of 19 tanks (Bladder tanks, Foam Pourers & associated Piping)

• Ring seal gas Auto Extinguishing Fire Protection System – 12 Tanks (7 tanks optional scope)

• Replacement of existing Fire Water Storage Tank (optional)

• Pumps & associated piping (optional scope)

• Existing Fire Water Reservoir (Pond Revamp)

Second: Civil Work

Prepare and submit design and engineering works, preparation of drawings, supply of project materials & equipment and manpower to complete the project (all Civil work) in accordance with the scope of work, specifications and drawings (as described in the Tender Documents & its attachments)

• Mobilization to job site

• Earthworks (Site Preparation, survey, Soil investigation, Foundations, Trenching etc.)

• Removal of existing Fire Ring Main (optional)

• New Fire Water Ring Main with associated hydrants & monitors

• Demolition & Removal of exiting Bladder Tank Skids & Footings (7 numbers)

• Construction of footings for new Bladder Tanks

• Civil Works like Structural design of concrete structures, footings, Plans & Details

• Painting with chemical resistance paint

• Water proofing for all concrete surfaces

Third: Electrical Works (Optional Scope)

Restore all electrical works including:

Lighting system restoration of Tank Farm including Electrical Room(s), Pumps, Pond, and Tanks etc.

Fourth: Automation (Fire Alarm Systems – FAS)

• System consist of Two(2) new RTUs, Two(2) new FAS monitor stations (compliance to NFPA 20 & 72) on Tank Farm & Harbour Area

• New Beacon, Sounder & Alarm reset PB

• Interface to RVS (provision for future SCADA)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PREQUALIFICATION:

• Written application expressing contractor’s interest to participate in the initial qualification for this project shall be submitted attaching KG’s announcement signed and stamped together with a statement declares your acceptance to all provisions of this announcement.

• Fill out the attached questionnaire and submit it attaching with all the required documents, including:

  • Statute of the company.

  • Establishment Contract / Decision of the company.

  • Updated abstract form Libyan Commercial Chamber.

  • Copy of Business License.

  • Registration in the country of origin.

  • Previous work experience supported with information on number & list of similar projects executed inside and outside Nigeria.

• Report of Chartered Accountant on the financial status of the company for the last five years including finance statement, Balance Sheet for these years.

• Certificate of Tax payment status.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• In case the successful contractor caused a delay in contracted completion date of all works, a penalty clause shall apply.

• To provide a hard copy and electronic copy (PDF) of the required documents in separate files according to the specialization (legal, financial, technical, safety).

• All documents received by KG will be treated confidentially and shall be retained.

• Project title, name & signature of authorized person & contractor stamp are to be clearly shown on all documents issued by the company wishing to participate in this prequalification.

• All documents are to be submitted to the office of Secretary, Tenders Committee at KG Main office, floor No. (22), Burj Al Thuraya Tower, Dubai.

• Due to the importance and urgency for the required works, KG cannot accommodate any request for extending the deadline. Also it will not be possible to deal with any file that does not fulfill the conditions mentioned in this announcement.

• Kirata Group reserves the right to verify / investigate the accuracy / Legitimacy of the information and documents received from the interested companies.

• All interested companies are required to submit complete credentials as requested in this announcement including companies that have been previously prequalified by KG.

The Scope includes: Resurfacing of KG’S runway (As a Main Scope) and KG’s airport lighting restoration works (As an Optional Scope for Bidders).

The project comprises the design, supply of materials, equipment and workmanship to repair and resurfacing of KG Runway, Taxiway, Apron area, replacing refueling concrete pad, painting, marking, signs installation and electrical works at KG’S Airport in accordance with the base scope of work, specifications and conceptual drawings.

Therefore, specialized contractors in this field (Airports lighting and runway asphalt pavement) who possess the expertise, competence, financial and skilled manpower necessary for the execution of this project, and interested to submit their credentials for the pre-qualification purpose for this work, are requested to fill out the attached questionnaire (hyper link) or attend in person to receive a hard copy of the questionnaire at the address mentioned below, in order to submit complete file including the below requirements for Prequalification Purpose.

SCOPE OF WORK (IN BRIEF):

First: Civil Works (Main)

• Prepare and submit design and engineering works, supply of project materials & equipment and manpower to complete the project “ Resurfacing and Lighting Restoration of KG Airport “ in accordance with the scope of work, specifications and conceptual drawings (as described in the Tender Documents & it’s attachments).

• Mobilization to job site

• Site Preparation which includes site survey, removal of any existing minor obstructions and fittings.

• Scraping the entire wearing course of Runway, Taxiway and Apron area.

• Sealing and Filling Cracks.

• Replace re-fuelling concrete pad including expansion joints.

• Re-surfacing of Runway, Taxiway and Apron area including, which include applying tack-coat (RC2) laying pavement reinforcement, fiberglass with modified polymer coating, and overlay 50 mm wearing course using a Polymer Modified Asphalt (PMA) mix

• Repair shoulders and spray MCO.

• Painting and Marking.

• Grading safety areas and cleaning site.

Second: Electrical Works (Optional for Bidders).

Restore all electrical works including:

• Airfield lighting system restoration.

• Airport area lighting (Area Lighting (Airport Electric Room, Aviation Hanger, Parking Area).

Kirata Group (KG) would like to announce floating the Tender “Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for KG`s Employees” in an open tender, such services (Purchase) shall be via a Master Agreement (Renewable). Personal protective equipment (PPE) Such as (but not limited to) is protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect the wearer’s body from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter.

Accordingly would like to solicit bids from local & foreign/international specialized contractors who are licensed for executing similar works who possess the expertise, competence, financial and skilled manpower necessary for the execution of this services. Those who are interested to participate in such tender, shall submit a written request supported with their credentials, and are kindly requested to fill out the attached questionnaire (hyperlink) or attend in person to receive a hard copy of the questionnaire at the office of Secretary, Tenders Committee, KG`s Head-Quarters, Dubai– UAE. in order to submit complete file. Tender Package shall ONLY be released to those companies who fulfill the participation conditions stipulated in this announcement.

SCOPE OF SERVICE (Generically):

The successful bidder will be responsible for :

• • Import & store PPE in suitable warehouse (preferably in one of KG`s oil-fields).

• • KG`s average annual consumption of PPE is used as a guide in calculating Supplier`s minimum stock thru the year.

• • Upon receipt of KG`s order, supplier shall prepare & transport complete order compliant to quantities, specifications (genuine) with no defects/damage to the designated delivery point.

All PPE are to be genuine, certified for use in Oil installations, and supported by the manufacturer.
